Brief Description:  Rudder cable pulley brackets

Spent the day building rudder cable pulley brackets from kit supplied 1-1/2x1-1/2x1/8 extruded angle. Gives one an appreciation for the prefab hardware option, which I have, but these brackets were not available on early Onex orders. I don't know if they are now part of the kit, put would certainly be appreciated.

Note in the lower left of the picture that the pulley for the right sta #1 vertical is moved 1/2" closer to the outboard edge (revision 4/9/12).

Its not clear how to setup the pulleys, but I set them up so the bushing rotates on the bolt. The locknut is tightened so the the pulley just rotates freely.

Per the print, it appears (no dimension given) the bolt for the pulley is centered on the 1" flange. It so happens the A223 pulley is 1" in diameter, which means there would be zero clearance between the pulley and the mounting surface. I noticed this after drilling the bolt holes, so I trimmed about .020" off the diameter of the pulleys. If there were a next time I'd move the bolt hole 1/2"+.010 from the back edge to ensure pulley clearance.
